Here's How Move Is Keeping You Safe

At Move by BJC, we pride ourselves on being the destination for health, fitness and performance, and on building one of the healthiest, most resilient communities in the country. That vision has not changed. COVID-19 has made our team at Move even more focused on building a healthy and resilient community in St. Louis. We have implemented safety measures above and beyond recommendations from the CDC along with guidance from your trusted providers at BJC HealthCare.

We are limiting capacity, mandating masks and social distancing, implementing contactless sign-in procedures, conducting temperature checks upon entry and promoting frequent hand-sanitization. We clean our entire facility numerous times each day between workout blocks with EPA-approved cleaning products.

Regular physical fitness, including 150+ minutes of moderate aerobic exercise and resistance training 3-5 days per week, has proven to decrease heart disease, diabetes, obesity, pulmonary disease and many other health concerns that can cause severe complications and increase risk of COVID-19 contraction. By maintaining and potentially increasing intentional activity you could be setting yourself up a healthier and more resilient immune system.

If you are still not sure about returning to the gym even with the added precautions and measures being taken at Move by BJC, take a look at some of our options for personal training and group exercise as well as our virtual programs. We’re committed to providing a safe, clean, healthy environment for you to return to Move.
